If you get an email that is similar to the one posted below please know that this is a scam and the email poster’s intent is to obtain as much information on you in order to commit Identity Theft. To protect the business’s that were listed in this email we replaced their names with COMMERCIAL STORE* which is a commercial department store and COMMERCIAL MONEY TRANSACTION COMPANY* as that is a business you can go and wire money.
Now not all ‘secret shoppers’ are scams as we did some research on this topic and there are legit companies that employ people to become secret shoppers. But if any email you get is ‘fishing’ for personal information to include bank accounts, addresses, ect then you can probably assume it is a scam.
Always keep in mind, if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is…..
